The Master Rug Cleaner Program was founded in 2006 by Ellen Amirkhan, owner of the 100-year old Oriental Rug Cleaning Company in Dallas, Texas, and Aaron Groseclose, President of MasterBlend. These two recognized industry leaders and experts have collaborated to synthesize their wealth of information into a year-long, hands-on program to share with other industry professionals who want to expand their knowledge and understanding of oriental rugs and their care and cleaning.

During this year of intense training, Ellen and Aaron take the mystery out of oriental rug cleaning and present a clear and concise method for running a successful rug cleaning business. The combination of Ellen’s expertise plus three generations of Oriental Rug Cleaning experience and Aaron’s knowledge of cleaning chemistry and technology gives Master Rug Cleaner Program students an unparalleled opportunity to gain in-depth understanding of all aspects of the care, cleaning, and repair of oriental and specialty rugs.

From equipment to techniques and ongoing support Phil got us on the right track from the start. After several years of hands on training we continued our training with Ellen Amirkhan & Aaron Groseclose at their world renowned Master Rug Cleaner Program, Dallas, Texas. We completed a year of advanced training in rug construction, rug identification and honed more advanced skills related to rug cleaning and rug repairs. We earned our Master Rug Cleaning Certificationin 2011. As we continue to broaden our knowledge base and refine the skills of the craft we look for other mentors to help us give our customers more. Most recently, 2012, we were selected as one of the top twenty companies in the world to train with Lisa Wagner & Jim Pemberton of Textile Pros, San Diego. We are a Textile Pro Certifiedcompany.
